If you are already a Photoshop Elements 8 user, there maybe some nuggets amongst the tutorials that might help you to figure out why your pic doesn’t quite look right. An example might be getting rid of the fringing that occurs around your subject when your blurring the background using the Gaussian Blur, or adding Noise to your image helping to blend both the blurred areas of the image in with the sharper areas, giving it that more natural look.

puts the focus where you want it! If you have a background that’s fighting for the viewers attention and your not sure how to put your subject in the limelight, try the Gaussian Blur effect. It’s another alternative to Color Popping and gives the attention to your subject, putting you back in control!

The tutorials will help the user become familiar with the different tools and techniques, but to become really proficient it takes a lot of practice and having the right resources by your side is a must have.
